Privacy policy

At NeoFINO, developed by Neo Aplicaciones, C.A, your privacy is a priority. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and what choices you have.

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Neo Aplicaciones, C.A. For any privacy matter you can write to infoneoaplicaciones@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and phone number, along with a user identifier needed to sign in and sync your information.
• Content you create: businesses, books, transactions and their amounts, categories, payment methods, notes and reminders you record inside the app.
• Purchase data: if you buy NeoFINO Pro, the purchase is processed through Google Play and we receive the confirmation needed to activate your plan. We never receive or store your card details.
• Identifiers and technical data: an identifier for sending notifications, the device advertising identifier (only on the free plan, to show ads) and basic device information needed to run the service.
• Voice (optional): if you choose to add an entry by voice, the app uses the microphone and the system speech recognizer to turn your dictation into text. The audio is not kept.

Protected notes and the app lock are secured with your PIN or biometrics. Those unlock credentials are handled on your device and we do not keep them.

3. How we use your information

• Provide the app features and store your content.
• Sync your data to the cloud so it is available when you sign in.
• Send the reminders and alerts you schedule yourself.
• Manage your NeoFINO Pro subscription.
• Show ads on the free plan.
• Keep the service secure, prevent fraud and resolve issues.

4. Cloud sync

So your data follows you across sessions, it is stored securely in the cloud through Google Firebase. All information traveling between your device and our servers is encrypted over a secure connection (HTTPS/TLS). Your data is only used to provide the service and is never sold to third parties.

5. Advertising

On the free plan the app may show ads through third-party advertising services (for example, Google AdMob). To do so, the provider may use your device advertising identifier to show ads and measure their performance. You can reset or limit that identifier from your phone settings. If you purchase NeoFINO Pro, the app does not show ads. You can review how Google handles this data in its privacy policy.

6. In-app purchases

Purchases of the NeoFINO Pro plan are made and managed through Google Play. The payment is processed by Google; we only receive the confirmation needed to activate your plan and have no access to your payment details.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with the providers that let us operate the app, and only as needed:

• Google Firebase — cloud storage, authentication and notification delivery.
• Supabase — server functions for delivering alerts and email verification codes (password recovery and account deletion).
• Our servers (neoaplicaciones.com) — sending emails, verifying purchases and support functions.
• Third-party advertising services (for example, Google AdMob) — ads on the free plan (receive the advertising identifier).
• Google Play / App Store — processing of paid plan purchases.

If you invite other people to your books through the collaboration feature, the shared content will be visible to those you invite, according to the role you assign (admin or viewer).

8. Security

All information travels encrypted over a secure connection (HTTPS/TLS) and is stored on servers with restricted access, so each person can only see their own information. You can also strengthen security by enabling the PIN or biometric lock and protecting your most sensitive notes.

9. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request the deletion of your account and data at any time, from within the app or from our account deletion page.

When you confirm the deletion, your account and personal information are removed immediately; content you share with other people is kept for them, but your identity is removed. Automatic backups are purged within a maximum of 90 days.

10. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your information. The app includes data export so you can take your information with you. To exercise any right, contact us.

11. Minors

NeoFINO is not directed to minors and we do not knowingly collect data from people below the legal age to use the app.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal changes. We will always publish the current version on this page.
